Week 7  For my images on my contents page I am going to change two images from what I originally wrote in my storyboarding post. To be specific I am changing the tree picture and the picture of the street with beads. I  want to have a shoot to get pictures of kids on a playground swinging and doing activities in a wide angle shot with a mix of a reaction shot. I think this picture will be more of a picture that is clear on what I'm going to talk about, "family friendly activities", instead of a tree. To take this picture I am going to be asking permission from my moms friends kids to take pictures of them and I will be taking these pictures over break. For my street with beads picture I want to hopefully find a better one that is more clear of what it is (what the reader is seeing) if this doesn't work I am thinking of moving the tree picture over to that spot instead. I think this will work because I believe it will still show what I am trying to convey, "Things...

Week7  I am going to be adding an interview into my feature article. I think this will add a more professional element and also make it more interesting (seeing things from a different point of view). I am going to be interviewing restaurants on what it is like to make beignets, why they added them to there menu, etc. If those interviews don't work I had another idea to do interviews on different bakeries and ask them why they don't serve this popular dish because it can be very hard to find a place that makes them, besides New Orleans. I will also be doing these interviews over call for Covid purposes and I will be doing them over winter break. Because of this change and add of new words to my feature article I might need to either make my feature article font size smaller in order to fit it all or take a picture out, but I will have to see when I type everything out. 

  My experience with creating my storyboard was  really good ! I found it fun to pick out different aspects of my magazine like the images, font, colors, etc. It was helpful to see everything together and get the  jist  of what my magazine will look like. This process made it easy to see if I wanted to change things around or if I wanted to take away and add anything. In the article, " Storyboard your way to success  " ( 1995, James M. Higgins) Higgins shares how Disney was the first to come up with this idea of having a storyboard and explains how it changed their carrier for the better. Higgins states, " Disney decided to have his artists pin their drawings on the walls of the studio, in sequence. That way, anyone would know  at a glance  how far along any given project was.
