  I thought doing a screen share video would be great for question one because I believed it was a more personal view on my magazine and how my product challenges conventions and represents social groups and issues. I also liked using this form of presenting because you could see me talking to the viewers and I could also show pictures at the same time in a smooth way.  How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups and issues? Question 1 For question two I used a Prezi chart presentation. I thought this was a great option because this question had many different parts, which this chart let me separate into different categories making it easier to understand and follow my response to the question. For this question I also wanted to add images in and this chart allowed me to do that. Below is my final product of my magazine. After a lot of planning and getting feedback I have made several changes and I am really happy how it turned out! I believe I did a great job at using all my resources, like InDesign and made a great product. I hope when people read my magazine they are able to learn new things about different places and even be inspired to travel, plus make new recipes themselves.  

Giving a last look at my magazine I fixed a couple of grammar issues and straightened some of the pictures and text, but in all everything was good. Over all I am pretty happy with how my magazine turned out. I think I did a good job of creating content that fit my whole genre and the interests of my target audience. I believe I can always improve in certain areas, like my photography skills and just getting better at using InDesign as a whole, but I am satified where my magazine is in the end.

 I made many changes to my magazine from what I originally had. Most of these changes were in the layout of the magazine, specifically my feature article. I felt like my feature article was very plain and basic and I wanted to make sure that it would look appealing and not boring, especially to my target audience. My layout before was just a paragraph of text with one picture in the corner which reminded me more of a book then a magazine. Instead of having my paragraph of text ( the directions to the beignet recipe) I split each step up with a picture and put it in a box shape on the pages. I thought this looked a lot more interesting and was eye catching. I also numbered each picture with its corresponding text, so it would be easy to follow.  I  moved my mast heads around and changed the color of them and I took some colors from my cover page and added them to my other pages to make things flow better and not look so different.  I got a lot of amazing feedback from my peer reviews this week. Some of the things my peers said were to add more colors on my pages, more pictures, and just move things around to look more appealing.  The pictures I think I will want to take and add in, are pictures of the restaurant Café Du Mon and a picture of beignet sauces along with beignets (Beignets are fun, so make it look more fun!) . Another idea a peer gave me was to layer pictures which I really liked and I will definitely do. I also want to add boarders around my pictures to make them stand out more and add more "texture" to my page. A color I want to add to the background of my pages is either a coffee color or a sand paper color. I think this will make the pages less bland but also still follow along with the theme. Other little things I need to do are to maybe add another interview into my feature article, add month and year on the issue, and line up pictures on my table of contents (to look more organized)....

This is my first draft of my magazine. I will be getting feedback from my peers soon and take those and evaluate them to make changes if I want.
